Thongs for the wedding party, yay or nay?

No, not those kind of thongs, the foot kind. And it is kind of too late to ask this question because we already decided. Sister Rachel and I have very uber-fancy ice-blue shiny ooh-la-la bridesmaid dresses for Sister Leah's wedding. We didn't want to be too "look at me" and so forth so we didn't want to get overly high heels with us teetering around. Never mind, that tripping or falling in the uber-fancy dress would lose the whole look; entirely and suddenly. So we got thongs, I really need a better word. I mean they are not the $3 Kmart special, they are encrusted with Rhinestones in the straps and have a little silver heel. And they came from frustration with the mall and last-minute trip to Hollywood to the shoe fantasyland store. (Don't worry I was already in the LA area for a trip last weekend). How about slipper shoes? Strappy soles? Well, they are cute, if not traditional and will require an excellent pedicure. Here's to fashion forward wedding looks.
